Editor’s Final Note

“Without passion, you don’t have energy, without energy you have nothing.”

– Donald Trump

Managing the Print this year was easily one of the most rewarding things I’ve done thus far. Seeing the classroom fill up week by week as more students joined, united by their passion for writing, filming, and photography genuinely makes me so proud to be a part of this school community, where students like you and me, of very different skill sets, can come together to do what we like. As cliche as it may seem – on behalf of the Senior Print team, we cannot thank each and every one of you enough for contributing, whether it be by writing great articles, flexing your videography skills, or simply just being a keen reader. Without your enthusiasm and energy, we would not be where we are today.

Revolutionising the Print the way we did this year was no walk in the park, but that goes to show just how far commitment, dedication, and hard work will get you.  I can confidently say that the Print is now, more than ever, a part of the NES Community – a part of all of us!

The Print Team would like to wish you the best with your upcoming examinations. Hopefully, the articles we’ve produced this year about managing your time, stress, and learning how to get that A*, are benefitting you!

Remember that there is much more to school life than putting your head down and working. The ability to manage your time well allows you to work hard and get the grades, but also to experience your youth. When you’re older, you’ll look back fondly at the memories you’ve made as a member of the football team, or perhaps the articles you wrote for the Print.

Best wishes,

Nadine Soliman and the Print Team 2017/18
