Ms Marvel: A Review

This review contains spoilers; you have been warned!

This show is set in phase four of the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe). The story revolves around a 16-year-old Pakistani-American girl named Kamala Khan who is a huge fan of Captain Marvel and somehow is trying to figure out her life. Suddenly, she gets cosmic powers that allow her to stretch her body to any size.

In my opinion, this show was good in some places and bad in others. I felt like Marvel was kind of beating around the bush as they added irrelevant scenes. I felt like I was enjoying the part of the show where her powers were connected to the past and also connected to her home country in Pakistan. They also used the latest CGI techniques which were good.

However, I didn’t like the fact that they sort of had another main character. But then I realised that his family were the villains of the entire show. They also showed that he got powers he couldn’t control so they sent him to Pakistan to a place called the ‘’Red dagger’’ which was connected to Kamala’s powers. I also liked the fight scenes that took place in Pakistan. I would rate this a 4.5 out of 5 but I think Marvel can do much better.
