It’s time for us to sit near the fireplace enjoying a mouth-watering dessert (not in Kuwait though!). Don’t worry, none of these recipes have those random strange ingredients. Classic Chewy Cookies

Cookies may be simple, but boy aren’t the most heavenly dessert to ever exist! They’re called classic cookies for a reason, they’re soft, chewy, and overall amazing. Standard ingredients aren’t used for this recipe so you may think they’re weird. Just trust me, it’s tough to only end up eating one!

Ingredients:

Only 3 ingredients are needed, you seriously don’t need anything from the fridge!

  • Creamy (not crunchy) peanut butter.
  • Maple syrup
  • Chocolate chips

Instructions:

  1. Start by adding the peanut butter and maple syrup into a bowl and whisk.
  2. Add as many chocolate chips as you want and mix with your hands or a rubber spatula. To avoid a mess, wear a pair of kitchen gloves.
  3. Using your hands, shape the dough into small, smooth balls.
  4. Place the balls on a lined baking sheet and press down on them.
  5. Bake for 8-10 minutes or until almost firm around the edges.
  6. Remove them from the oven and let them cool completely.

Storing instructions:

Storing: Place the cookies onto a plate and cover it with saran wrap, keep them at room temperature and they will last for 5 days. Or, if you put them in the fridge, those 5 days will turn into 2 weeks!

Freezing: leftover cookies can be stored in a sealable container in the freezer for up to 6 months.
