Comic con:
Comic-Con has presented literally thousands of special guests at its conventions over the years, bringing comics creators, science-fiction and fantasy authors, film and television directors, producers, writers and creators from all aspects of the popular arts together with their fans for a fun and, oftentimes, candid discussions of various art forms.
How did comic con start?
Comic con started in the 1970s in the US by a group of guys and 300 visitors. With the increasing popularity of comic books and movies over the years, inviting celebrity guests in those fields comic con became the biggest pop-culture event in the world with over 120,000 visitors each year. The second Comic Con in Kuwait took place at the Kuwait International Fairgrounds Hall, in September 26, 27 and 28th.
Who were the celebrity guests?
NOAH SCHNAPP:
Noah Schnapp is an American actor. He is best known for portraying Will Byers in the Netflix science fiction horror web television series Stranger Things. He is 15 years old and has a twin sister called Chloe Schnapp. Noah Schnapp is the first Stranger Things cast who came to Kuwait (this was his first time doing so!), and the majority of people went to Comic Con (Plamo Con), did so just to meet Noah.
Charlet Chung:
Chihye “Charlet” Takahashi Chung is an American actress who trained at the University of California, San Diego. Her first acting role was Barbie Yen in the twentieth episode of the third season of the American police procedural television series Cold Case and is also known for voice acting as D.Va in the video game Overwatch. Like Noah, this was her first time coming to Kuwait too, and a lot of people came to see her.
Stefanie Joosten:
Stefanie Joosten is a Dutch model, singer and actress living in Japan. She first gained widespread public attention when Japanese developer Konami revealed she would be providing the motion capture, voice and likeness for the character Quiet in 2015. This was her first visit to Kuwait too.

There were food, snacks, games, concerts, funko pops, a Q&A, Autographs, photos, Stranger Things merch (t-shirts, funko pops e.g.), BTS (bangtan) merch, marvel merch and a lot more fun and interesting activities to do and things to buy.
