Feelings: A Poem

My Feelings are a hopeless mess I hope that you can see,

They aren’t very special no need for a Jubilee,

Like a river with no water,

Like a bookshelf with no books,

Like a kingdom with no ruler,

Like a restaurant with no cooks,

Nothing but sadness and there’s nothing I can do,

No one can help me because they ain’t got a clue,

Like a very long vacation,

Like  a world with endless food,

Like a long awaited success,

Like knowing every route,

On top of the world or being on cloud nine,

Is something to say when everything’s fine,

Like a fire in your body,

Like going all ballistic

Like losing all your patience,

Like when someone is sarcastic,

When every single detail needs to be perfect,

But all you can see is just a big conflict,

Like a lion attacking you,

Like reading horror books,

Like being out at night,

Like being very shook,

A feeling burning in you that makes you very scared,

To run away to a place that will heal your despair,
