Book Review: The Maze Runner

“Wicked is good.”

The maze runner, written by James Dashner, is all about teenagers getting trapped in a glade which they have never seen in their life before. When they first step into the mysterious glade, they have no memories from the past – none at all. The unknown glade is surrounded by four gigantic walls that lead through a maze which opens at dawn and closes during midnight. Thomas, who has just arrived to the glade, has this feeling that he has a strong connection to the maze. But although he has just arrived, he is causing many problems. Some people blame it on him, and some don’t. A day after Thomas has been sent, a strange girl is sent into the glade, and the minute she wakes up from her long sleep(coma), she calls out the name: Thomas.

My personal opinion:

This is the most amazing book of all time. The book’s description had so much detail that when I first read the book, I felt like the book was telling a true story. Also to the people who hate reading books, you should start reading this amazing book right now!! In addition, when you have finished this book, you have to start reading the other books from the series which are:

  • The Scorch Trials
  • The Death Cure
  • The Kill Order
  • The Fever Code
