Pro Display XDR

The Pro Display XDR is the most advanced monitor Apple has ever created. This incredible professional machine was made to complement the new Mac Pro. The Pro Display XDR has a starting price of $5000 and an option to add nano-texture glass which reduces the glare. This is a $1000 option.

Like the Mac Pro, The Pro Display XDR has the same three dimensional cut outs, which allow a high volume of air to enter the body of the Pro Display XDR. The Pro Display XDR is also made out of Aluminium like the Mac Pro.

The Pro Display XDR is a 6K monitor. For comparison, the iPhone 11 pro max can only reach 2436 x 1125 resolution. The Pro Display XDR is the most colour-accurate display Apple has ever made, featuring a P3 colour gamut. Features like HDR and Reference mode are all standard on the Pro Display XDR.

While the Pro display XDR is expensive, at $6000, it is actually at a good value compared to all the other reference monitors, which can cost up to $30,000. But the Pro Display XDR does not come with a stand so you have to buy it individually.

The Pro stand costs $999, and is the most advanced monitor stand ever made. It is also made of a solid piece of aluminium, with gears embedded in the hinge of the stand. This makes the action of rotating the display seem weightless. While all this takes some effort, in my opinion, I do not think that the Pro stand justifies its price.

Overall, I think that the Pro Display XDR is a great value deal considering what competition it’s going up against; as for the Pro stand, I think it’s overpriced.
