Minecraft has been around for 15 years and is the most-liked video game in the world. It was developed by Mojang Studios, and Markus Alexej Persson designed it. In this article, I will introduce you to the characters of Minecraft and some of the mobs that roam the world.
Steve is the character you play as, for beginners. He is the only character in the world, or is he…? Steve’s objective is to survive a world full of monsters and defeat a dragon that lives in the End. Steve is smart, creative, heroic, and adventurous, often seen with his comrade Alex.
Alex is another character you can play as, this time the character being a girl and she is a well- liked one. While Steve is all about mining for materials, crafting tools, and creating blocks, Alex represents more of the magical side of Minecraft.
When you enter the world you can find a village where things that look like humans live, they are not self-aware and are NPC which are non-playable characters, you can steal stuff in the village, and destroy and burn the houses. There is a three-block-tall mob called the Iron Golem, which helps keep the villagers safe and alive.
There are caves in Minecraft where you can get resources like stone, coal, iron, and more. Diamonds can be found below the surface. Emeralds can “ONLY” be found on mountains. Coal can be used as a light source.
Now, let’s move on to the Nether Portal. This portal can be collected by using water over a lava source. When you enter the portal, you will be surprised: lava creatures roaming the Nether—Lava for water, nothingness for the sky.
Now we have the “End”, where there is nothing but a void. In the middle, there is a home for a dragon!!!!! And tall black stick figures with purple eyes.
The Minecraft aim is to see the world and unlock achievements and your final task is to free the End, to free the end you need to defeat the dragon, and when you do that an egg appears, you can take the egg or leave it forever…
