On the 1st of October, this year’s first NES Bake and book launched. Hosted by the Year Elevens, this event offered NES students a large variety of sweets, cakes, and interesting books to read!
What is Bake and Book?
NES Bake and Book is a charity event led by Ms. Khedapa, and is hosted by students in Years 11, 10, 9, 8, and 7. sell cakes and books to students and teachers alike and year groups and houses compete to see who can raise the highest amount of money and, as a result, house points. The Bake and Book event is hosted during 1st and 2nd break, in front of E Block; Just don’t be like me and forget your money to buy anything!
Who is hosting the next B&B?
The next Bake and Book should be hosted by year 10, assumed to be this November.

Year 10s are in luck! The next Bake and Book will be hosted by any willing students in the year group. Not year 10? No worries! As long as you are Years 7+ you will have your chance.
