Over the years, NES and its students have hosted an event where you can buy several types of books or, (if you are not the reader type) you can buy sweets of many kinds; doughnuts, cupcakes…. You name it!
What’s the bake and book sale?
You might be asking yourself, why does NES host this event? Well, dear reader, the Bake And Book event is a charity event. And a race for the students. You see, The money you spend at B&B (Bake And Book) is donated to several charity organizations. And a race for which year group earns the most money will earn House Points/Positive Comments.
During the first and second breaks, you will see long tables with tasty sweets to eat and exciting books to read! Just don’t be like me and forgot to bring some money from the last B&B sale…
I want to partake in the next B&B event!
Now, I’m not very sure. But at the time of writing this; I can only believe that the year 8s will be hosting next time. So if you are in year 8, be prepared for the next Bake and Book sale! The school (Mostly the students though) can’t wait for your delicious treats and exciting books we will see next time.
