An Editor’s Note

“That’s the secret of existence. We’re all a little mad.”

— Agatha Christie

We are, I think, here at The Print; just a little mad – but then again, it’d be incredibly boring if we weren’t. Ever since I joined this CCA, back in Year 11, I found it to be my own little haven of inspiration and creativity. And I hope that you – writers and readers, artists and viewers alike – have found the same haven that I did.

The Print is not only a platform to share ideas, individuality, and hard work, but a community for like-minded yet diverse creators to share their thoughts with each other and receive feedback, advice, and appreciation for their work. It is my goal as editor-in-chief to provide you all, as creators, a makerspace where you can feel safe and engaged, and to all the readers, a source of reliable news, thrilling stories, and art to lose yourself in.

This year began on the rocks, with everyone struggling through the obstinacies of online learning, but I am truly grateful to my determined team of writers, editors, and artists that persevered, and have consistently been active and enthusiastic about their participation in The Print.

Whether you’ve been looking for book recommendations, are a poetry fan, or want to show off your amazing nature photography, I hope you’ve found solace in The Print. I want to thank you all for an excellent start to this year’s CCA and the dedication you have shown towards it throughout, which I hope will continue up until the very end of this academic year. I’m so excited to receive and platform even more wonderful content from all of you, and I hope all of you viewers take as much joy in it as I do.

To the rest of a wonderful year,

— Namya Kathuria, Chief Editor
