Long ago, in the year 2000, a space explorer named Astro Castor went missing far out in space, attempting to unravel the galaxy’s history. But after the explorer left, he never came back. The government tried to find the explorer’s location, but they lost it, and he wasn’t found for 25 years.
In 2025, there was a 19-year-old recruit named Steven Andrew, who got a job at the military base called ASA (American Space Academy). Steven came with all the other astronauts. After two weeks, the space commander Cosmo universe called a meeting on the third day. He told the astronauts that he was going to send a team of 4 astronauts to find the famous space explorer.
Cosmo picked 4 astronauts named Samer, Jacob, and including his son Joseph. The fourth was surprising: Cosmo picked Steven even though he was new. But Steven was a very smart man – no one questioned the spontaneous decision. Why?” Asked Steven,
“Because I see how hard you work and you try so hard, so I wanted you to be part of a big thing,” answered Cosmo. Nervously, Steven agreed to go search space even though he was new. The Captain told him to believe in himself and complete the job, and that the journey was going to begin tomorrow.
At 8 AM, all the astronauts joined together next to the rocket. Before they left, Captain Cosmo came up and gave every astronaut a picture of the area in space where the space explorer was last seen. Before the astronauts left, Cosmo wanted to talk to them. “Ok, guys, I know it’s such a long journey, but no matter what, I will never give up on you, and if you come back with the space explorer, you will be given the entire military base, a powerful prize and opportunity, when I retire. Good luck, men”.
In a few minutes the men were already in space. Joseph was driving the spaceship while carefully following a map on a screen to show where the space explorer went. “Now remember this is a very serious mission and I don’t want us to get lost in space, so act seriously.”
“Yes sir” the crew answered. Joseph was looking at the pictures they were provided but was confused – they didn’t provide any hints to the astronaut’s location.
Just as Joseph was about to call Cosmo for help, the spaceship started to slowly move on its own. “Did you just feel something?” asked Samer “Are you driving the ship Josoph?”
“No I’m Not Samer” replied Joseph.
Quickly, the ship started to move faster and faster and red alarm lights were flashing. “Whats going on?” asked Samer. When all three of the men looked forwards, they didn’t like what they were seeing. “WORMHOLEE!!!!!!!!!” they shouted.
The ship was spinning and getting sucked in. Joseph tried to steer the spaceship out of the wormhole but it was too strong. “I can’t fly the ship away, TAKE COVER!” .Everybody grabbed every part of the ship and held tight. Then the ship was falling rapidly through the worm hole and crashed onto a planet on the other end of the wormhole, having passed straight through it!
Luckily the crew miraculously survived, although disoriented and now inside a battered ship. “Where are we”? Asked Steven.
“ It looks like we are on some sort of crystal planet” answered Joseph. He checked his computer for the name of the planet and the results showed “Lapis quartz”. It was blue, shiny, and it had bright crystals sticking out of the ground.
The crew, having managed to move the ship again, tracked the monitor until the screen on the ship said they were at their destination. “This is it!” said Steven excitedly, “this must be the planet where the missing space explorer was lost”.
The explorers put on their space suits and stepped outside the spaceship. Joseph came out with a remote-like phone. “Maybe this can be used to find the space explorer because there is a trail and I think this might help us find them”. “Come on, let’s go!” said Joseph. All three of the astronauts followed Joseph into the big planet.
They stopped at a dark and empty cave but Joseph’s scanner told them to go inside “I don’t know about this” said Steven.
“We have to, it might be the only way we can do this” said Joseph, encouraging his friends. Then they stepped into the pitch-black cave. Then Captain Cosmo called Joseph’s communicator.” This is the ASA Control room, what is going on up there?” “Hey dad” said Joseph “”I think we are close. I think that if we follow the trail, we can find the missing space explorer! ”
After having explored for a while, the team halted after having found a 20 foot tall Iceberg. In it they found a frozen figure. Could this be the missing space explorer?. Steven remembered that Cosmo gave Steven a picture of the explorer and the picture looked identical to the guy in the iceberg.
“GUYS!” yelled Steven excitedly. “This is him! The missing space explorer we did it, we found him! The mission is complete!”. All the astronauts excitedly took out their space pickaxes then started to dig through the iceberg. “Let’s just hit it all at once as hard as we can!” said Samer, and so they did. Slowly, the cracks started to appear moving across the block of ice and shattered into pieces, freeing the poor, unconscious frozen man.
When Astro was free the men saw his skin was blue and his space suit was as cold as ice. “We need to get him back home” informed Joseph. While they were dragging him out of the cave, the men heard a low growl. The men turned back and saw the snow rising. Except it wasn’t snow, it was a monstrous and looming polar bear monster!
All the men screamed with fear as they ran as fast as they could. Luckily, they had jetpacks so they could carry Astro’s limp frame and fly out of the cave.
Steven recalled that he had a weapon so he flew up to the polar bear and used his space gun to shoot as many times as he could. Steven shot the massive beast with a massive shot of a reddish purple laser. Then the polar bear fell and disintegrated into fine snow. After that, it was finally time to go back home.
Back on Earth the workers helped Astro get better. All the astronauts became famous for the mission and Steven became known as the greatest, most brave astronaut of all history. Things were going great for Steven and his friends and when Cosmo retired Steven, Joseph, and Sammer became the new bosses of the ASA and since then for Steven, life had never looked better.
