I couldn’t be more proud in saying that this is my twelfth year at New English School and it is an honor to be your Head Boy. Many would consider their school to be their second home, however, for me, NES is and will always be my first home.
NES provides, in my opinion, the best character building education in the country. We have numerous extracurricular activities that extend experiential learning and teamwork and I would highly recommend all NES students to take part in as many clubs as possible. Not only are clubs a great way to explore, curate and gain new hobbies, it’s also a great place to meet like-minded people.

I was extremely fortunate to be involved in numerous extracurricular since I was young and my experiences have been nothing short of great! Also, through a lot of hard work, my team was able to establish the Tareq Rajab Docent Program last year, the first student-led docent program in the Middle East. Furthermore, this year, I, along with a new team, plan to establish the NES Science Program around the theme of sustainability in the hope of hosting a science fair! Stay on the lookout for updates on the program!
Moreover, as you can see around you, NES has an extremely vibrant student body with an atmosphere of energy, vivacity, and ebullience. Make sure to take advantage of all the delightful opportunities offered to you.
Finally, at NES, time passes quickly, hence, it is definitely worthwhile to form strong bonds with your peers and teachers because they make a great support mechanism. I hope that you too can find your home at NES. School doesn’t have to be as miserable as people make it sound. It’s solely up to you to make it an enjoyable rollercoaster ride.
