Recipe of the month: Rice Krispie cakes

On some days we just can’t help but feel extremely lazy, especially on the weekends after a long week. As the majority of us would do, we’d lay back in our comfy PJs and put on our favourite TV show. But of course, we need a tasty snack alongside to munch on! After all, we deserve a reward.

Don’t worry, this recipe doesn’t have any of those random strange ingredients. If you’re a wild sweet tooth, be sure to head straight into the kitchen and start this delicious recipe!

Rice Krispie cakes

Ingredients:

Marshmallows

Any type of cereal you want (can be colourful, or not)

Butter

Vanilla Extract (optional)

Equipment:

Parchment paper

Spatula

Baking tray

Instructions:

  1. Add the melted butter, marshmallows, and mix until a smooth batter is formed.
  2. Get your favourite cereal and add it to the batter and fold to combine. 
  3. Place the parchment paper onto your tray.
  4. Put your combined batter on a tray and place in the fridge for 20 min.
  5. Finally take it out from the fridge and cut it up however you want.
