Poetry: The Fall of Autumn

Poetry: The Fall of Autumn

Falling Autumn,
Vivid leaves fall,
Unlike the bright rise of a summer sun,
Falling Leaves descend into the abyss.
Dreary skies whimper tears,
Tears of distraught Anguish.
Tears unlike the roar of a windy spring.
Tears of Summer past,
Tears of Winter Future.
Tears of restraint,
Tears of Intrepid desire,
Tears like that of oblique dissension.
Tears that strike the heart,
Tears that tarnish the mind,
Tears Undoubted.
As I gaze teary eyed sullen yet immersed,
I shed a tear,
Only for the tears of the past.
